ALABAMA CHOCOLATE FESTIVAL        

IN RAINBOW CITY

CHOCOLATE TASTE-OFF

Adult Category

April 5, 2008

Rules:

1.                   Each entry must contain chocolate or cocoa.

2.                   Each entry will be baked/prepared off premise and will be brought to the Rainbow Middle Sports Complex by 10:30 A.M. on April 5^th.   

3.                   Entry forms must be postmarked by March 28, 2008.

4.                   ALL INGREDIENTS MUST BE LABELED ON EACH ENTRY.

5.                   Only one entry may be made per person in each category.

6.                   YOU MUST BRING YOUR RECEIPT.  THIS IS FOR THE “EASE OF PREPARATION” PORTION OF THE JUDGING.  

7.                   After the judging, Chamber representatives will hand out samples of the remaining entries to guests.

8.                   Judging will begin at 11:00A.M. If your pie requires refrigeration, you will be responsible for meeting that requirement.

9.                   There will be a 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd prize awarded for each category.

10.       The criteria used for judging will be:

-         50%  TASTE

-         25%  VISUAL APPEAL

-         25%  EASE OF PREPARATION
